Cookie and Storage Policy

This page explains the small pieces of data VigiNote ZA stores in your browser. Last updated 27 October 2026.

What we use

• Your province choice (browser storage). If you pick a province on the news app, it is saved in your browser's local storage so the page opens on it next time. It stays on your device and is not sent to us.
• Admin sign-in cookie. A secure, HttpOnly cookie is used only on the private administrator area, to keep our staff signed in. Readers never receive it.

What we do not use

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, cross-site tracking or third-party analytics. Our fonts are hosted on our own servers, not loaded from other companies.

Third parties

If you follow a link to Instagram or to a news publisher, that site may set its own cookies under its own policy.

Your choices

You can clear your browser storage and cookies at any time in your browser settings. If you do, the site simply forgets your province.
